Our law centres

We offer general free legal advice sessions at drop-in free legal advice sessions. We provide you with initial legal information and advice. In special circumstances, we may take you on as an ongoing client.

If you can’t make it to our Office check our Outreach to see when we are coming to you.

We also have specialist lawyers available at set times and a number of specialist advice lines.

We provide legal education on a wide range of topics and we run sessions from our offices and from other venues in the community. Search our education calendar here to find a public education session that interests you.

We also organise 'private' education (not open to the public) for rōpū Māori, community groups, schools, alternative education providers and others. If your group is interested in getting educated, contact us directly.

During the Covid 19 response, most Community Law Centres are still giving free legal support by phone and/or online.

Please find the contact details of your nearest Community Law Centre here to access their services.

We’re updating legal rights information during COVID 19 response right now and will have that information available on our website soon. Watch this space.

For now, you will also find out useful information on our Community Law Manual Facebook page.

The distribution of resources from our Online Bookshop are on hold until further notice.
