New Zealanders can have an impact on the direction of criminal justice reform using a new digital engagement platform from the Hāpaitia te Oranga Tangata – Safe and Effective Justice initiative.
The platform builds on engagement undertaken by Te Uepū Hāpai i te Ora – the Safe and Effective Justice Advisory Group and others, allowing the public to share their opinions on a range of reform topics that have emerged from the national conversation to date.

The Hāpaitia te Oranga Tangata – Safe and Effective Justice initiative was set up by the Minister of Justice in July 2018 to help transform the criminal justice system and create a safer Aotearoa New Zealand.
